Love
The name Ebunifemi means "the gift of God loves me." Love is not just in our name, it is the thread that runs through everything we make. We design for people we genuinely care about.
Our Story
"Ebunifemi" — a Yoruba name meaning the gift of God loves me — is more than a fashion brand. It is an act of faith, culture, and community, woven into every thread we create.

Ebunifemi Enterprise began in 2018 in a small Lagos studio, driven by a single conviction: that African fashion, specifically the intersection of Afrogospel expression and traditional West African textile art, deserved a brand built entirely in its honour.
What started as a small custom tailoring service for church clients in Lagos quickly grew through word-of-mouth into a full fashion label. By 2020, Ebunifemi was dressing families for naming ceremonies, thanksgiving services, and weddings across Nigeria. By 2022, orders were arriving from Toronto, London, and Houston, the diaspora had found us.
In 2024, we opened our Toronto studio, making good on a promise to serve our diaspora community in person. Today, Ebunifemi Enterprise operates across two countries, serves over 12,000 clients, and stands for something that has never changed: fashion as an act of faith, culture, and love.
Our Story
Every decision, every design, every stitch is guided by three foundational beliefs that have shaped Ebunifemi from the very first day.
01
The name Ebunifemi means "the gift of God loves me." Love is not just in our name, it is the thread that runs through everything we make. We design for people we genuinely care about.
02
We are custodians of African textile tradition. Every Ankara print, every Aso-oke weave, every Kente stripe that passes through our hands carries centuries of meaning. We honour that deeply.
03
Afrogospel is our spiritual language. Faith is not a category of our work, it is the foundation of it. We believe that beauty, creativity, and self-expression can all be acts of worship when done with intention.
The People Behind the Brand
Every stitch, every story, every satisfied client begins with this extraordinary group of creatives, artisans, and visionaries.
